The following is a news release from TxDOT:
Beginning today [Tuesday], the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will close the southbound I-27 exit ramp to FM 1294 and the northbound I-27 entrance ramp to FM 1294. The closure will allow contractor O. Trevino to continue work on a project making roadway repairs to the interstate.
The ramps are expected to remain closed (daytime and overnight) for approximately two weeks. Traffic will be detoured around the work area using the County Road (CR) 6000 entrance and exit ramps. Portable message boards and temporary signage are in place to direct motorists.
In addition, to the ramp closures, daytime mainlane closures will be in place at the FM 1294 overpass. Work and closures will take place weather permitting.
