Plainview Downtown Association will be presenting “Discover Out on the Downtown” 2nd Saturday in Plainview’s downtown historical district on Saturday, March 9th beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.

Downtown visitors will have an opportunity to enter the PDA March 2nd Saturday 4-Leaf Clover Give-Away featuring four tickets to see Mercy Me and David Crowder on Sunday, March 31st. The concert will take place at the Santa Ana Star Center and includes a night stay in the Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. To enter, participants will take a photo of themselves by the four-leaf clover with the business owner or employee located in a Plainview Downtown Association member store. Another way to enter is by texting a picture of a receipt from a PDA merchant signed and dated between March 1st and March 15th. Photos will be texted to Moore in the Mornings at 806.518.9872 to enter.

This 2nd Saturday will feature a Rummage Sale from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Participation is free and open to the public. It is a first call, first location to reserve a 10 by 10 foot area on the sidewalk in front of an unoccupied storefront along Broadway and Ash Streets. To reserve a spot, contact Ranada Jack at 296.5254 or Diane Book at 774.4938.

Also at 10:00 a.m. is Cars and Coffee at The Broadway Brew (107 E. 7th St.). Vintage car and hot rod enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their car and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Downtown merchants will also open at 10:00 a.m. with a variety of discounts, sales and other treasurers for shoppers during the day and food vendors will be at the Courthouse from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Diana’s Traveling Boutique (707 Broadway) will feature Storytime with the book Abracadabra, It’s Spring at 11:00 a.m.
