The Lubbock Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday in the area of 50th Street and Chicago Avenue.
Police told EverythingLubbock.com a male gunshot victim arrived at University Medical Center around 12:45 p.m. by private vehicle.
LPD said the victim had moderate injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Based on initial information, officers began searching the area from the E-Z Mart to The Park Apartments, including C.W. Ratliff Park.
Police were looking for a suspect in the shooting, described only as a black male, 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall and wearing a navy jacket.
