PoliTech will host a panel to discuss the issue of gun control and campus carry on November 16 at 7:30 pm.  

The event will be in the City Bank Conference Center inside the United Supermarkets Arena. The forum is free to attend and open to the public.

According to its website, PoliTech is a non-partisan organization at Texas Tech University that focuses on providing students with unbiased and balanced political information.

“This is an important issue at Texas Tech University and in the Lubbock community in which constructive discourse is crucial at this time,” PoliTech said in a written statement.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: State legislators and special-interest groups to participate in gun control forum at Texas Tech University Nov. 16 

PoliTech will host a panel forum to discuss the issue of gun control and “campus carry” in Texas. This is an important issue at Texas Tech University and in the Lubbock community in which constructive discourse is crucial at this time. The group of 7 panelists includes representatives from national special-interest groups and state legislators from across the political spectrum.
