Texas Tech University presents “Lyle Talking: An Evening of Conversation with Lyle Lovett” as part of the 2017-18 Presidential Lecture & Performance Series.

EVENT:
Lyle Lovett, an iconic singer, songwriter, composer and actor, will be in conversation with Paul Allen Hunton, general manager of Texas Tech Public Media, about his creative process and various stories from a career spanning 30 years.
Lovett has helped shape American music during a career that includes 14 albums. Lovett fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers.
This program of conversation will offer fans and followers an intimate look at one of America’s musical treasures.
Tickets for the performance are $18 and are available through Select-A-Seat at (806) 770-2000 or www.selectaseatlubbock.com. Texas Tech students are eligible to receive one free ticket with a valid student ID at the Student Union Building ticket booth.
