Reese Technology Center is proud to announce its twentieth year as a premier site for economic development centered on technology, research, engineering, education, and manufacturing. Today, we are proud to say, Reese is one of the most successful redevelopments of a former Air Force base in the country.
In collaboration with the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, and the South Plains Associations of Governments, visionary leaders came together in 1997 to set out a plan that would benefit the West Texas region. Twenty years later, the Reese Technology Center is a great example of success brought forth with determination and hard work.
In partnership with public institutions such as Texas Tech University, South Plains College, and South Plains Association of Governments, and in collaboration with over 20 private organizations who are leaders in their industries such as Zachry Industrial, KBRwyle Aerospace, OXY USA, United Supermarkets, WesTex Documents, and Group NIRE, Reese is today a place where both public and private organizations come together to advance leading edge research and technology.
To recognize 20 years of success, please join Reese as we host a celebration on September 12, 2017, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. on the Air Field.
