The following is a news release from the Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department:
Gear up for the 2019 softball season by participating in our preseason Adult Softball tournament! Parks and Recreation is hosting the Swing Into Spring Softball Tournament each evening from March 18-22, 2019. This tournament will be available for men’s and mixed teams and will be single elimination. Players must be at least 18 years old to participate and can only play on one men’s team and one mixed team. Teams may have up to 20 players on their roster for the tournament. Cost is $25 per team with online registration available at www.playlubbock.com through Sunday, March 10, 2019. Register in person at the Parks and Recreation Office, 1611 10th Street, Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Games will be played at the Berl Huffman Softball Complex located at Loop 289 Frontage Road & Landmark Lane. For more information, call the Parks Office at 775-2672.
