District 1 Councilman Juan Chadis will be hosting a Community Meeting on Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Maggie Trejo Supercenter. Councilman Chadis is asking the public to share their ideas for new activities and events for the center that would address the needs of older, active adults and senior patrons.
Maggie Trejo Supercenter serves all ages of the community through its camps and afterschool program, special events, fitness equipment, classes, computer lab, and programs for older, active adults, which includes transportation to-and-from the center and a nutritious lunch. Maggie Trejo Supercenter is located at 3200 Amherst Street. The center is open Monday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Fridays from 8:30 a.m-6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. For more information, call the center at (806) 767-2705.
