The following is a news release from the City of Lubbock:
Beginning this afternoon, June 25, City of Lubbock Street Department crews will begin repair work on failed concrete paving near the intersection of 34th Street and University Avenue. Eastbound and westbound traffic will be closed alternately during each phase of repairs. Detours will be provided for the duration of work.
Motorists are strongly urged to allow extra time for delays or find alternate routes. This work will take approximately three weeks to complete depending upon weather and construction.
