LUBBOCK, Texas — On Thursday morning, The Lubbock Police Department tweeted that former K9, Jax, has died.
Jax was with the department from 2010 to 2014 when he retired due to joint related issues, according to the LPD tweet.
He lived out the remainder of his days with his handler, Officer Stamps.
