For the 16th season, Texas Tech Football and the Ronald McDonald House Charities have teamed up for the Quarterback S.A.C.K. This is an easy way to raise money for sick or injured children on the South Plains.
To get in the game with Quarterback S.A.C.K., all you have to do is go to www.pledgesackwin.com and make a pledge. Each time the Red Raiders sack an opposing team’s quarterback this season, those donations will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
“It is so great to put two concepts of Texas Tech Football and our defense, but also helping kids that are in true need and families that just trying to figure out their new situation,” Outreach Coordinator, Lauren Pittman said.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities aim to keep families close to their children during times of serious illness or injury. It is a home-away-from-home and offers assistance for families with children in Lubbock hospitals. They serve 68 counties across West Texas and New Mexico.
S.A.C.K. stands for Support And Comfort Kids and will continue through the Red Raider football season.
