The Scholastic Art Contest awards ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. at the Abraham Art Gallery on the Wayland Baptist University campus in Plainview.
Out of 582 awards, Lubbock ISD received 217, including 37 entries that received Gold Key recognition, a pool from which entries are selected to advance to national judging in New York City later this spring.
