Four Texas locations of Sears will close according to a list released Thursday afternoon on CNN Money.
On Thursday morning, Sears said, “As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline the Company’s operations and focus on our Best Stores, we have identified approximately 100 non-profitable stores, 72 of which will begin store closing sales in the near future.”
Sears also said, “In summary, the Company reported a net loss attributable to Holdings’ shareholders of $424 million ($3.93 loss per diluted share) for the first quarter of 2018.”
The loss is only for the first quarter.
According to CNN Money, the four Texas stores are:
- Sears 2401 S Stemmons Freeway Lewisville TX
- Sears 1800 Green Oaks Road Fort Worth TX
- Sears 11200 Lakeline Mall Drive Cedar Park TX
- Sears Golden Triangle Mall Denton TX
