To kick off the department’s annual Shallowater Summer Shindig fundraiser on Saturday, all volunteer firefighters will be presented free innovative home security cameras. The first responders will enjoy a fun day with their family including lunch, games, water slides and silent auction to raise money for a new fire station.
All 40 Shallowater Firefighter will receive Canary devices, donated by State Farm, to watch over their homes and families while they’re protecting ours.
The Canary devices will be presented by State Farm Agent Nichole Forman as part of the national Protect the Protectors campaign.
