Special Olympics Texas athletes from across the South Plains region were in Wolfforth on Saturday for the 2019 Basketball Competition.
The tournament was a held at Frienship High School and included included 5-on-5 and 3-on-3 team play, as well as individual and team skills competition.
Some of the athletes were competing as a means to qualify for the 50th Annual Special Olympics Texas Summer Games that will held in early May.
The Summer Games will held at Morgan’s Wonderland in San Antonio, May 2-5.
