A federal magistrate on Wednesday approved a guilty plea for Shonna Lynn Calaway who admitted to enticement of a minor.
Court records said Calaway was a teacher at the Motley County High School. She admitted that in December of 2016 she used Snapchat to make contact with a sophomore student.
Calaway admitted she sent a sexually inappropriate picture to him and tried to get him to send one back in return. She admitted that she met with him and went with him to a secluded location to have sex with him.
Calaway will be sentenced at a later date to no less than 10 years in prison. The maximum penalty would be life in prison.
