The following is a news release from Frenship ISD:
Frenship Independent School District is pleased to announce Stephanie Spear as the new principal of the Reese Education Center. The announcement came during FISD’s monthly Board of Trustees meeting.
Spear brings 34 years of educational experience to FISD and Reese. She most recently served as the elementary principal at City View ISD in Wichita Falls from 2013-2018. She was also an assistant principal at City View for three years (2010-2013) as well as an elementary teacher for four years (2006-2010).
Prior to her time at City View, Spear taught elementary school at Colorado City ISD from 1991-2005. She also taught at Eagle Mountain/Saginaw ISD and served as an instructional material specialist for the Region 11 Education Service Center in Fort Worth.
Spear earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Midwestern State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Hardin Simmons University. Spear takes the place of former Reese principal Casey Loafman who was named the new principal at Frenship Middle School earlier this summer.
