The Lubbock City Council on Thursday evening will consider a proposal for improvements to Stumpy Hamilton Park at 22nd Street and Avenue W.
The improvements will include a walking track, ADA parking spaces, new benches, picnic tables, irrigation changes and a space for rotating public art displays.
The council will choose a bidder, and staff has recommended a bid from Turfmaster Irrigation and Landscape Inc. of Lubbock for $146,609.
Once a contract is approved, the work must be done in 120 days.
