Billy Bowles of Sundown, Texas and host of Swinging Country on KSSL radio is one of the latest recipients of the Western Swing Music Society of the Southwest Hall of Fame 2017.
His other accolades include Academy of Western Artist Winner of the Will Rogers Award for Disc Jockey of the Year 2012. Inducted into the Cowtown Society of Western Music Western Swing Heroes Hall of Fame and Disc Jockey of the Year 2013. Inducted into the Northwest Western Swing Music Society Hall of Fame 2014. Inducted into the Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame 2015. Awarded and named Best Male Radio Presenter 2015 by Fair Play Country Music, covering and monitoring Independent World Wide out of Germany.
