Littlefield Police said Angel Uolla, 18, was killed after officers were called to the 600 block of West 3rd Street for the report of a stabbing Wednesday morning at the Our Place Community Center.
Police provided updated information late Wednesday afternoon.
Police said, “a student [was] stabbing a teacher,” at the center.
When officers responded, officers said Uolla refused to drop the knife. An officer shot Uolla, and he later died.
Police identified the stabbing victims as Norma Jean Bartley, 75; Omar Flores, 18; Oneida Lopez, 38; and Mary Lupe Garcia, 58.
Police said Bartley was stabbed multiple times, and, “She was listed in critical condition.”

Details: At about 0911 hours, 3/21/2018, units of the Littlefield Police Department responded to a 911 call at the Our Place Community Center regarding the need for an ambulance or cops for a student stabbing a teacher. The suspect was a GED student at the Community Center. For Unknown reasons the suspect began to intentionally stab members of the Laguna Park Community Center causing critical and serious injuries to some of those members. The suspect fled north from the community center on foot and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. He was armed with a knife. Officers located the suspect in the 300 block of Westside Ave.
Initially, Ms. Bartley was to be transported to UMC by Littlefield EMS. She was stabbed multiple times. EMS was met by Aerocare Helicopter Services in Roundup, Texas where she was flown to UMC. She was listed in critical condition. Ms. Lopez was stabbed multiple times and was transported to Lamb Health Care Center. Mr. Flores received a laceration to his neck. He refused treatment at the scene. Ms. Garcia was transported to the Lamb Health Care Center for shock.
This is an ongoing investigation.
CORRECTION: Angel Uolla was not charged. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
