LUBBOCK, Texas (KAMC NEWS) – Are you a fan of South Plains politics? Here are your Talking Points for this week.

There has been word that some of our farmers might be getting tired of waiting for good news on this trade war with China. President Trump has stepped in a second time to ward off a political mutiny.

Lubbock Chief of Police Greg Stevens will retire from the force at the end of the month, but he’s heading to the coast to head the department in Rockport.

Also, we’ll have a recap all the local, state and national political news of the past week.

Talking Points with Bryan Mudd airs each Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday evenings at 11:05 p.m.
