LUBBOCK, Texas (KAMC) – Are you a fan of South Plains politics? Here are your Talking Points for this week.

The 2019 Texas legislative session for state lawmakers is over, and Governor Abbott says he will not call a special session. We’ll look at a few bills that we may see again in two years.

You’d feel safer knowing there are several police officers right down the street from your house. Lubbock Police Department substations are coming. We now know if the north side station will be close to your neighborhood.

Also, we’ll have a recap all the local, state and national political news of the past week.

Talking Points with Bryan Mudd airs each Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday evenings at 11:05 p.m.
