A member of the Lubbock City Council has announced her candidacy for Lubbock County Judge. Karren Gibson announced her candidacy for county judge last week. She says that doesn’t necessarily mean she won’t be also working alongside city leaders.


Thousands of state first responders are still along the Texas coast helping residents dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. When all those people need to communicate and coordinate, they turn to Lubbock County.

President Trump announced plans to phase out the DACA program. We’ll have local reaction to the news.
