The annual Lubbock Tattoo Expo continues this weekend at the Memorial Civic Center.

Over 200 tattoo artists and vendors are on hand for the three day event that kicked off on Friday.

You can check out tattoo artwork and you can even get tattooed on the spot if you’re interested.

“I think it’s the best thing for Lubbock because I think it opens up minds and breaks down barriers on what tattooing really is,” tattoo artist Mike Diaz told EverythingLubbock.com.

“It’s really televised. A lot of people have a tainted experience of what we are, who we are, and this helps broaden everyone’s horizons on what the art of tattooing actually is,” he went on to say.

This is the third year the expo has been held here in the Hub City. The event will wrap up on Sunday.
