Despite a win at home against TCU by a score of 79-75 on Saturday, the Texas Tech men’s basketball team fell in the rankings. The Top 25 Associated Press Poll put TTU at #14 in the nation, down from #12 the week before.
Tech has an overall record of 23 wins and 8 losses. Tech is the number two team in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship which starts on Wednesday. (Tech plays on the second day of the tournament.)
Kansas is the #1 seed in the tournament. Kansas is ranked #9 in the nation in the AP poll.
