The Lubbock Police Department is currently searching for 16-year-old Christopher Hernandez who is wanted for the murder of 18-year-old Ezekial Gonzales on July 4th.

Tuesday, just before midnight, Gonzales was shot multiple times while at a house party located on the corner of 48th Street and Avenue U. Through the investigation, Hernandez was identified as the shooter.

A directive to apprehend for murder was issued for Hernandez on July 6th. While it is against LPD policy to release juvenile information, Hernandez is considered a danger to the public. Investigators received a juvenile court order to allow the release of his name and information due to the substantial safety issue Hernandez poses to the public.

Hernandez has violent tendencies and should be considered armed and dangerous. He may also go by the name Christopher Hernandez-Constancio or the nickname “Bhris”. He is 5’08”, weighs about 128 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
