Texas A&M Forest Service on Wednesday reported two fires located near JA Ranch in Armstrong and Donley Counties.

Officials said the two fires, JA 1 West and JA 2 East (on Twitter, #JA1WestFire and #JA2EastFire), were burning in remote areas amid rough terrain.

As of early Wednesday afternoon, there were no threats to structures. The JA 1 West fire was described as 300 acres, and the JA 2 East fire was reported at 700 acres.  Both were described as 10 percent contained.

The Texas A&M Forest Service also reported a Harwood fire in Hall County.  It was described as 25 acres and 0 percent contained.
