RE: Faculty/Staff Clinic

We are excited to announce that beginning in January, faculty and staff will be provided the convenience of an on-campus medical clinic with the opening of the Texas Tech Physicians Family Medicine Faculty/Staff Clinic, which will be located on the second floor of the Student Wellness Center. This new faculty/staff benefit is scheduled to open January 17, 2018.

The clinic will be staffed by TTUHSC Department of Family and Community Medicine personnel and will feature a waiting area, three examination rooms, a lab and x-ray. The clinic is designed to provide care for urgent medical issues and minor injuries. These may include cold, prolonged cough, flu, sore throat, headaches, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, ear infections, wheezing, minor abdominal pain, and pink eye. In addition to the clinic, the pharmacy located on the first floor of the building will be available to fill prescriptions and may be used as your primary pharmacy with your current medications, providing the convenience of picking up prescriptions while still on campus.

Clinic hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and same-day appointments are available. For an appointment or to inquire about services, the clinic can be reached at (806) 743-2345 beginning on January 17th. Standard co-payment will apply and employees should bring their Blue Cross/Blue Shield cards with them to the clinic. Parking will be available right outside the Student Wellness Center.
