The Texas Tech University Climate Science Center presents “Children of Men” as part of its Climate Cinema series.

EVENTS:       
The Texas Tech University Climate Science Center presents its Climate Cinema series. This series features films dealing with issues related to climate change.

The series continues this semester with “Children of Men,” an Academy Award-nominated film directed by Alfonso Cuarón. Set in the year 2027 where women are infertile, Clive Owen stars as Theo Faron, a man who finds the world’s only pregnant woman and helps her find safety.

Tickets for the film are $5 and a discussion of the film will immediately follow. For more information or to purchase tickets online, go to the Alamo Drafthouse website.
