EVENTS:
The Texas Tech University Climate Science Center presents its Climate Cinema series featuring films dealing with issues related to climate change.
The first presentation will be the film, “The Martian” starting Matt Damon, who is stranded on Mars and tries to find a way to signal to Earth that he is still alive.
Tickets for the film are $5 and a discussion of the film will follow immediately afterward. For more information or to purchase tickets online, got to the Climate Cinema website.
