Texas Tech Graduate School To Host Arts and Humanities Conference Friday

WHAT:          
The Texas Tech University Graduate School will host the seventh annual Arts and Humanities Graduate Student Research Conference.
                                                                                                 
WHEN:          
9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday (Nov. 17)
 
WHERE:        
Matador Room, Student Union Building (SUB)
 
EVENT:          
The conference will feature presentations from current Texas Tech graduate students, highlighting research and work in the arts and humanities. A panel of judges will rate each presentation. Topics that could be covered in the presentations include philosophy, foreign language, economics and communication studies.
 
Conference attire is business casual. Duane Hill, associate director of bands in the School of Music and director of the Goin’ Band From Raiderland, will give the keynote address at a luncheon for all conference participants, moderators, judges, and guests.
