LUBBOCK, Texas — On Tuesday, the college recruiting website Rivals.com upgraded Jahmius Ramsey, Texas Tech’s highest ranked 2019 recruit, from a 4-star rating to a 5-star rating.
According to Rivals.com, this upgraded rating will make Ramsey the first 5-star recruit in Texas Tech men’s basketball history. It also said this makes Texas Tech’s 2019 recruiting class the 12th best in the country.
Ramsey, now the 21st highest ranked recruit in the country, is from Duncanville High School where he lead the Panthers to a 6A State Championship in 2019.
