The Silent Wings Museum commemorates the 74th anniversary of D-Day

The following is a news release from the Silent Wings Museum:

The Silent Wings Museum will commemorate the 74th anniversary of D-Day on Saturday, June 2, Sunday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 6. The community is invited to this family-friendly, annual event honoring the sacrifices made by the Allied forces on the shores of Normandy, France, during a critical operation in World War II.


Activities throughout the weekend include vintage WWII aircraft and vehicles on display, living history groups, children’s activities, and screenings of the documentary D-Day Remembered. All aircraft will fly in and be on display as weather permits. This event is free and open to the public.
