The attorney who has been filing bankruptcy documents on behalf of Reagor Dykes made disclosures in court records, including a family friendship with Bart Reagor and the list of top 20 unsecured creditors in the RD bankruptcy case. A long list of secured creditors was also released.

Marcus A. Helt has been filing for RD since at least August 28.  That was a few days after David Langston and the firm of Mullin Hoard & Brown withdrew.  Helt made a list of disclosures on Friday as part of his application for court approval to remain as the attorney for Reagor Dykes.

Helt disclosed potential connections to five people and a long list of businesses.  Among them was the following: “Bart Reagor Friend of Marcus Helt’s family.”

“Marcus Helt’s sister-in-law was in Mr. Reagor’s wedding and is friends with Mr. Reagor and his family,” the disclosure said. “Marcus Helt’s brother-in-law is also friends with Mr. Reagor and his family.”
