Work to rebuild the Upland Avenue intersection at US 62/82 (Marsha Sharp Freeway) continues this week as crews turn their focus to the southbound Upland lanes. Beginning at 9 a.m., Monday, Feb. 6, crews will close the intersection to southbound Upland traffic and reopen the northbound lanes.
Southbound Upland Avenue traffic will be detoured around the area via the MSF frontage roads to 82nd Street. Drivers are urged to use an alternate route around the area.
Southbound Upland will remain closed for two to three weeks. The closure and work will take place weather permitting.
