The earlier report said, “North Korea slammed Vice President Mike Pence on Thursday, calling comments he made earlier this week “stupid” and saying it’s prepared for a ‘nuclear showdown’ if ongoing talks with the U.S. fail.”
Trump’s letter to Kim said, “Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting.”
