LUBBOCK, Texas — Two locations of Metro PCS were robbed in Lubbock Tuesday morning, according to Lubbock Police.
Police said someone robbed the Metro PCS location at 4921 34th Street at 10:06 a.m. The suspect was described as an armed black male wearing a gray hoodie.
Police said someone robbed the location at 7400 S. University Avenue at 11:07 a.m. Initially, the suspect was described as a white male. Later, police changed the description to say he was a black male.

18-18855 Robbery of Metro PCS @ 4921 34th St. 10:06
Suspect entered the store armed with a handgun. Suspect demanded the employee to “give me the money” while pointing the gun at the victim. The victim took the suspect to the register and the suspect took an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then demanded the victim to open the safe. The victim could not open the safe. The suspect then took the victim to the back of the store and put her in a closet telling her he would shoot her if she came out. The victim came out when she could no longer hear the suspect. She then noticed the suspect took her cell phone .
Suspect is described as a black male wearing a grey hoodie, ski mask, blue jeans and black gloves.

Suspect entered the store armed with a handgun. He told two employees not to do anything stupid. He the demanded one employee to give him the money from the register. The employee complied and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then ran out of the business and got into a gold Chevy Trailblazer and fled south then westbound.
Suspect is described as a black male wearing a grey hoodie, ski mask, blue jeans and black gloves.
Due to the suspect description, we believe it’s the same suspect in both robberies.
