Krisandrea Monae Dobbs, 31, of Lubbock accepted a federal plea bargain on Thursday.  She was accused of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Court records in Dobbs’ case said fentanyl is more powerful than heroin and “100 times more powerful than morphine.”

In the same case as Dobbs, Ashlyn Paige Utley, 20, of Lubbock accepted a plea deal last month for unlawful use of a communication facility.

Utley’s plea has already been accepted.  Dobb’s plea was still subject to the approval of a federal judge or magistrate.  Dobbs will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 20 years in prison.  Utley faces no more than four years in federal prison.

Two other people had charges pending in the case.
