Two men suffered amputation injuries Saturday evening in Gobbler Creek which is an inlet of Lake Alan Henry.
According to Game Warden Aaron Sims, the men were trying to get an anchor to come up for a boat. Sims said they were near the propellor when the boat operator engaged the engine. One man lost both feet, and another lost one foot.
Lubbock Police and a Garza County Constable responded along with Texas Game Wardens. The wardens will take the lead in the investigation.
On Wednesday, Sims provided the name of the men. They are Cole Michael and Adam Kelly.
