For the second year in a row, U.S. News ranked Covenant Medical Center (CMC) as a Best Hospital in the 2017-2018 assessment. U.S. News publishes the rankings to help patients decide where to best receive quality care across the country.
– CMC ranked as the Best Hospital in the Panhandle Plains region;
– CMC ranked as one of the top 12 hospitals in the entire State of Texas;
– CMC is the only hospital to receive Best Hospital ranking in Lubbock and the South Plains region; and
– CMC also received special designation in five procedures – see below.
Covenant Medical Center is ranked “High Performing” in five adult procedures/conditions; three in cardiac, one in cancer surgery, and one in orthopedic surgery:
- Aortic Valve Surgery
- Colon Cancer Surgery
- Heart Bypass Surgery
- Heart Failure
- Knee Replacement
