The following is a news release from The United Family:
United Express, the fuel center banner of The United Family, is experiencing rolling regional fuel supply delays intermittently across the area.
“West Texas is a very tight supply market with many different retailers supplied by the same vendor partners. We find ourselves in high-demand period right now that is outpacing the regionally-available supply,” said Angelos Lambis, director of fuel and convenience for United Express.
In an effort to minimize the impact to United Express guests, the company is coordinating deliveries to supplement West Texas supplies from partners located in other regions.
“Our goal, first and foremost, is to take excellent care of our guests and minimize any inconvenience they might experience when unforeseen situations arise,” said Tony Crumpton, executive vice president of facilities, fuel and supply. “While we, and other fuel retailers, may continue to see spot outages across the area over a few coming days, we want our guests to know that we are committed to doing whatever needs to be done to bring in fuel from other sources.”
