LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) – The following is a news release from Lubbock Lemonade Day via Landtroop Strategies:
Lubbock Lemonade Day and generous partner United Supermarkets are proudly hosting the 7th annual Big Squeeze event from 2 – 4 pm on Saturday, April 27th at the Market Street located at 19th & Quaker (4425 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407).
With only one week left before the “big day,” the Big Squeeze helps young entrepreneurs launch their Lemonade Day stand quickly by bringing together all the resources they need in one place — finding a location, making a plan, purchasing supplies, and registering their business! Lemi the Lemonhead will be at Market Street to sign autographs and take photos as will the official 2019 Lemonade Day CitiBus, so don’t miss this fun event.
The Lubbock Health Department will also be there to issue temporary $1 Lemonade Day health permits for any stand that will be serving hot foods such as hamburgers and hotdogs. Alternatively, permits can be found on the Lemonade Day website: https://lemonadeday.org/sites/default/files/city/lubbock/city-resources/ldfoodpermitform2019compressed.pdf.
Lemonade Day empowers area youth to start, own and operate their very own business – a lemonade stand. The Big Squeeze is an integral part of Lemonade Day success and the final event before the big day!
