The following is a news release from TxDOT:
Beginning today, the southbound US 87 exit ramp to FM 1585 and the northbound exit ramp to 114th Street will be closed to traffic to allow crews to safely make pavement repairs to the US 87 frontage roads.
Southbound US 87 traffic needing to access FM 1585 will need to use the 114th Street exit. Northbound US 87 traffic should use the FM 1585 exit to connect with 114th Street. Frontage road traffic should anticipate delays at the southbound 114th Street and northbound FM 1585 frontage road intersections.
Ramp closures are scheduled to remain in place until early next week. The work is part of project to make $7.34 million in roadway improvements to more than three miles of US 87 in Lubbock County, from 82nd Street to half a mile south of FM 1585.
