The following is a news release from the City of Lubbock:
The intersection of Erskine Street and North Detroit Avenue will be closed beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, February 27, 2019, to allow Atmos Energy to safely perform underground utility work. Residents in the area will still have access to their homes, however, no traffic will be allowed through the intersection. The utility work is expected to take a week.
The City reminds drivers to obey all warning signs and drive safely in work zones.
