Volunteer firefighters were dispatched to a grass fire just west of Woodrow Saturday afternoon.

The fire was reported after 1:30 p.m. in the 16800 block of County Road 2130.

The Woodrow Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the fire scene. The Wolfforth Volunteer Fire Department was also dispatched to assist.

An EverythingLubbock.com staff member on scene reported crews had the fire under control by 2:15 p.m.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. 

No injuries were reported at the fire scene.
