A man wanted for murder in Lubbock was arrested this week in Dallas County.
Tracy Ware, 46, was wanted on a warrant for the murder of Anthony Domingo, 49. Lubbock Police said two murder warrants were issued in the case. LPD said Dwayne Weston, 44, was also charged with murder. Weston has been in jail since September 3.
Police were called on September 2 to the 1300 block of 65th Street. Domingo’s body was found in the street. At first it was considered a suspicious death. Later it was changed to murder.
LPD said at the time that Domingo had been in an altercation before his death and the extent of his injuries caused them to open a homicide investigation.
On Friday, the office of Lubbock County Medical Examiner responded to an inquiry from EverythingLubbock.com saying the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest.
The Dallas News website said, “How police traced Ware here [to Dallas County] is unclear, but he remains in jail on $251,000 bail.”
Ware was also charged in Dallas County with failure to identify as a fugitive, and possession of a controlled substance.
On October 4, Lubbock Police released an image of another man in the case and said, “He is not considered a suspect, however investigators would like to speak with him.”

It said in part, “Ware was arrested in Richardson, Texas on Tuesday, October 9th at 11:55 p.m. He was contacted by police in a high crime area and was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.”

LPD cancels Attempt to Locate on Tracy Lynn Ware
(LUBBOCK, TX) – Lubbock Police Detectives have canceled the attempt to locate on 45-year-old Tracy Lynn Ware. Ware was wanted in connection with the murder of 49-year-old Anthony Domingo on September 2nd, 2017.
Ware was arrested in Richardson, Texas on Tuesday, October 9th at 11:55 p.m. He was contacted by police in a high crime area and was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Ware’s charges include: Manufacture/Delivery of a controlled substance – which is a second degree felony
Failure to ID as a fugitive – which is a class A Misdemeanor
TDCJ Parole Violation Warrant
LCSO Felony Murder Warrant.
Ware will be transported back to Lubbock at a later date.
