Littlefield Police on Friday asked the public to be on the lookout for Jimmy Kit Fields, 37, who was wanted for sex crimes in New Mexico. The public then provided tips that led to his capture.
On Friday morning, police said, “Even though the arrest warrants are out of New Mexico, Fields is believed to be in the Littlefield area.”
“Fields was arrested in Olton after tips were received,” police later said during the noon hour. “Lamb County S.O. was notified and the arrest was made. thanks for everyone’s help!”
Police said the warrants for his arrest accuse him of criminal sexual penetration of a child, child solicitation by electronic communication devices, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and supplying alcohol to a minor.

The Littlefield Police Department is asking for assistance from the community in locating Jimmy Kit Fields, White male, Date of Birth, 08/07/1980. Fields is wanted on several counts of Criminal Sexual Penetration of a Child, Child Solicitation by Electronic Communication Devices, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Supplying Alcohol to a Minor out of New Mexico. Even though the arrest warrants are out of New Mexico, Fields is believed to be in the Littlefield area. Fields is listed at 6′-00″ tall and weighs 300 lbs. He has hazel eyes and brown hair.
