The following is a news release from the City of Lubbock:
Beginning March 19, the City of Lubbock with Guardian Utility Construction will begin construction of a water tap in Quaker Avenue east of 6th Street and a water line along the north side of 6th Street west of Quaker Avenue.
This project will result in some lane closures along 6th Street west of Quaker Avenue and along Quaker Avenue south of 4th Street. Drivers are encouraged to use caution while driving in the construction area.
