Beginning Monday March 12, the City of Lubbock with Guardian Utility Construction will begin construction of multiple water pipelines that cross Iola Avenue between 24th Street and 26th Street.
Construction is anticipated to last about 2 weeks.
This project will result in Iola Avenue being closed to through traffic between 24th Street and 26th Street. Residents will have access to their homes along 24th, 25th, and 26th Streets from the west. Through traffic is encouraged to use Juneau Avenue as a detour or to find alternate routes during the construction.
