Wedding bells rang out Saturday afternoon for a one patient and her fiancé at Covenant Specialty Hospital.
We’re told Elizabeth and Joe Abela had been engaged for quite a while.
Because Elizabeth suffers from an illness, the couple decided they didn’t want to wait to get married.
Hospital staff were able to organize the ceremony and wedding party in less than one week.
The ceremony was performed inside the hospital.
